Some crisis is brewing in the Edo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as its leadership, in Edo North Senatorial District, led by the former House of Representatives member for Owan Federal Constituency, Mr. Johnson Abolagba, at the weekend, called for the dissolution of the state executive of the party, led by Chief Dan Orbih and the executives in the 18 local government areas.
Their reason, as stated in a letter to the national leaders of the party, was that the current executive of the party had failed to win any election in the past six years, and so, there was now a need to elect new leaders, so that the party could focus on the 2016 governorship election in the state.
